Jessica really had to get home. Glancing at her watch, she shook her wrist, resulting in the minute hand going backwards. "Broken, great." She shrugged slightly, pushing a lock of hair back over her shoulder.
She wasn't much of an adventurer, so she really had no clue why she was out wandering. There were many possible reasons, but that involved deep thinking and that wasn't something Jessica was up for at the moment.
She was in a very calm mood at the moment, and as usual her outfit reflected on her mood.
She was dressed plainly today, an old Led Zeppelin Band Tee with a pair of shorts and black flip flops.
Summer was all about shorts after all. And she never minded showing a little leg. She was nineteen, it was what was expected of her. Clasping her right wrist in her left hand, Jessica continued along the path in front of the Village Hall.
She had always wondered what was in there. She just never had the courage to go in and look. Luke would have looked.
She faltered slightly at the thought of her brother. She missed him. She missed Dean too.
Shaking her head, she pushes her brother's out of her head. Standing around and saying she missed them wasn't going to bring them back.
She was too old for fairy tales anyways.
Jessica cocked her head sideways as she looked up at the Hall. Maybe it was covered in booby traps. It was like a race to get inside. Or maybe it was a cage of some sorts, like something was hiding inside. Possibilities were endless.
She chuckled softly, she really needed to stop daydreaming.
